Near the waterfront lawn, time spent choosing cacti, succulents and houseplants will meet sound arriving from three stages. LOCALGREEN FESTIVAL’26, held at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse in November, does not leave its plant market at the edge of the music festival. It places plants within the same day as clothing, furniture, food and live performance.
Go to the Red Brick Warehouse for the Green Market
Four markets—Green, Vintage, Local and Food—are due to bring together about eighty stalls. That figure is not a count of plant sellers alone. Even so, the Green Market has its own identity, naming cacti, succulents and houseplants. It gives visitors a reason to arrive for plants, rather than merely encountering one pot between performances.
One confirmed exhibitor, PLUS, says it will bring planters made with materials that reuse wood and stone powder, alongside glazed pots whose surfaces develop fine crackle patterns. The plants and vessels still available on the day, and their prices, should not be assumed in advance. The chance to compare a plant with the texture of the container holding its roots gives this market a tangible focus.
The photograph shown here is a venue reference taken at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse in January 2025; it is not a scene from the 2026 festival. It conveys the red-brick warehouse complex, the lawn, paths and planting, but stage positions, stall layout and crowd density should be checked in the current event information.
Move between live music and the market
Music is scheduled across the Cactus Stage, Sol Stage and Redbrick Club, with forty-eight artists and DJs appearing over two days. After one performance, the next movement need not be a rush to another stage. Walking while looking at leaf colour and the weight of pots creates a pace that belongs neither only to live music nor only to shopping.
With the timetable now available, market time can be placed before or after the performers one most wants to hear. Plant details may be harder to judge after dark, so visitors who want to look closely at form and condition might reserve daylight first. Carrying arrangements and any holding service may differ by stall and should be confirmed there.
Admission is free, but that does not make the plants, pots, vintage clothing or food on sale free. The absence of an entrance fee is separate from the choices made during the day. One visit may centre music; another can begin at the Green Market. Both routes remain possible within the same grounds.
Read the current information before the two days begin
LOCALGREEN FESTIVAL’26 runs on November 7 and 8, 2026, from 11:00 to 21:00 each day at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse. It is organised by GREENROOM CO. with support from the City of Yokohama. Running order, stall positions and visitor guidance may change, so the official information and FAQ should be read again before departure.
About eighty stalls, forty-eight acts and three stages are not a task list to complete in one day. Choosing one sound to hear and one kind of plant to look for leaves room for the unplanned. Sold-out items and programme changes remain part of the day rather than something the article can settle beforehand.
Listen with a red-brick wall behind you, then choose a pot across the lawn. LOCALGREEN FESTIVAL’26 offers a day in which music and plants do not need separate appointments. Later, when a leaf or vessel is seen at home, the sound of the stage can remain in the same memory.
