A market that connects choosing plants with living with them
The festival describes a botanical strand within its market, and the current 2026 exhibitor introductions include MOND AND PLANTS, GreenSnap and PROTOLEAF. This is more than a music event with greenery in the background: people who work with plants, and with the conditions that help them grow, are part of the same program as the performances.
Based in the Shonan area, MOND AND PLANTS works on plant-filled spaces, decorations for studios, events and live performances, and plant rentals. Its festival introduction also says it plans to bring a variety of plants. It is an appealing opportunity to ask not only about a plant's shape, but about where it might work in a room. These details describe the business's practice; they do not establish that it is designing the stages for this festival.
GreenSnap's introduction emphasizes a welcoming encounter with plants for newcomers as well as experienced enthusiasts. PROTOLEAF, meanwhile, works across growing media, garden retail, online sales and landscaping. Together, the introductions invite a broader idea of plant shopping: not simply choosing something to take home, but thinking about the soil and surroundings that will sustain it.
The exhibitor pages we checked do not specify the varieties, stock or detailed activities that each business will offer on the day. Visitors should not assume that a particular rare plant or limited product will be available. The stronger reason to browse is to discover what these businesses grow, select and bring into everyday spaces. If you are seeking a specific plant, check the exhibitor's latest announcements before traveling.
Choose a day for the music, and make time for the autumn park
The official 2026 line-up lists May J., Salyu and Tavito Nanao on Saturday, November 7, and Takaya Kawasaki and Hitomi Yaida on Sunday, November 8, among other performers. Once you have checked the day of the act you want to hear, leave time for the market and a walk. Moving from a conversation about plants to a live performance offers a different experience from a day devoted solely to shopping or music.
Soleil no Oka has outdoor areas where visitors can follow the seasons through flowers. Its bloom report records cosmos in full bloom as of October 25. That is not a promise about conditions on November 7–8: the park's forecast published in September places the expected peak in late October, with flowering past its peak in November. Check the latest bloom report before setting out.
Rather than making peak flowering the sole reason to visit, consider the contrast between a park moving through autumn and plants you may begin growing at home. Looking at the park's planting can make the colors and forms encountered at the market feel different from those in a familiar shop. It is a way into the event that a specialist plant sale alone cannot offer.
Check admission and viewing arrangements before traveling
nobinobi 2026 takes place from 10:00 to 19:00 on Saturday and Sunday, November 7–8, at Nagai Uminote Park Soleil no Oka in Nagai, Yokosuka, Kanagawa. The park is reserved for the event on both days, and an event ticket is required to enter. This also applies if your main reason for visiting is the plant market; ordinary free park admission should not be assumed.
Admission is free for children of junior-high-school age and younger, but they must be accompanied by a guardian. The official sales information checked on November 2 lists a late-advance one-day ticket for one adult at ¥8,820, and a same-day ticket at ¥9,800. Late-advance tickets are available in limited quantities until Friday, November 6; bundles have a different pricing structure. Check your date, ticket type and remaining availability before buying. Visitors arriving by car also need a parking ticket. The event says performances can be watched with an admission ticket, but viewing areas have capacity limits and some programs use audience changeovers. Separately sold priority-viewing tickets are also available. Admission does not guarantee a particular viewing position.
For public transport, the Keikyu bus from Misakiguchi Station on the Keikyu Line to Soleil no Oka takes approximately 20 minutes. Check current timetables, possible congestion and changes to park facilities before traveling. Some facilities and activities, including camping, have separate charges or booking requirements.
For a plant-minded visit, think about what you would like to ask at the market as well as whose music you want to hear. Perhaps it is a form that would suit your room, or a better understanding of growing media. A weekend planned for live music may also provide a new starting point for living with plants.
