Add a plant

Begin with a photo and a few details from when it came home.

Getting started

You can add or replace photos later. Start with one photo of how it looks today.

At least one photo is required. The first photo will be the cover photo.

Search by common or botanical name. You can refine the category later. You can leave this blank if you choose a plant or cultivar name below. Choosing a suggested plant or cultivar name also updates the name above. Choosing Other keeps the name you entered.

Add classification and origin details Optional

Choose from the suggestions. If it isn't listed, choose “Other” and enter the name.

Up to 120 characters. Longer notes can be added to the plant's journal.

Growing conditions (optional)

For outdoor plants,
temperature, humidity, fan, and grow-light details
are not recorded.
